Direct plate making method of sleeve type flexographic plate
the flexographic plate, which can be taken out for experiment before, should be pasted on the plate cylinder after plate making, and then it can be printed. There is a more advanced flexographic direct plate making technology abroad, which can make plates directly on the sleeve, and then put the sleeve plate on the plate cylinder to print. A step hole is set in the center of the disc, which is more efficient. This technology is sleeve direct plate making technology. Sleeve direct plate making methods can be divided into laser engraving and laser ablation
1. Laser engraving sleeve technology, foreign countries have adopted the method of directly engraving flexo on the sleeve. In this way, the sleeve can act as both an ordinary sleeve and a printing plate. The pages made by the prepress system can be directly output to the sleeve by the computer, eliminating the operations of exposure, washing, curing, printing and so on, which greatly improves the work efficiency. For example, the laser engraving sleeve technology of ploywest in Germany can produce a printing plate combining field and hierarchical points to obtain ultra-fine graphics and texts
2. Laser ablation sleeve technology, in packaging and printing materials, often encounter some pattern designs that are consistent with the full page, and can be cut at will, so it is difficult in rock drilling, explosion and other aspects. And no joint can be seen at both ends. Although it can be done on the web printing machine, it is very difficult to see the seams when printing with sheet fed paper. The sleeve technology can solve this problem well, because CTP technology can be used to make plates directly on the illustrative printing plate of the sleeve liquid crystal material testing machine, which can easily solve the problem. The plate making steps are as follows:
① apply a layer of hot melt adhesive on the hollow nickel or other metal roller, and after drying, wrap the cut photosensitive resin on the metal roller, and align both ends. Vacuum from the inner core of the metal roll (there are many small pores on the surface of the roll) to make the photosensitive plate close to the surface of the metal roll. Then put it into the oven for heating to fuse the plate with the adhesive layer on the surface of the metal roller, and then take it out for cooling
② put the sleeve version cooled in the first step on the peripheral grinder, grind the periphery of the sleeve version to a certain diameter according to the size requirements of the print (use laser to detect), and the layout is naturally smooth and flawless. After wiping, spray a black coating on the surface of the sleeve plate. Dry, standby
③ perform digital laser scanning on the sleeve plate prepared in the second step, so that the black coating on the sleeve plate is thermally etched by laser, and then conduct UV exposure as usual
④ put the exposed sleeve plate into the corrosion box for washing and corrosion, and then take it out and blow dry
